What is Crime Solvers?

Crime Stoppers began in Albuquerque, New Mexico in September 1976 and is a partnership of the community, the media and law enforcement designed to combat crime and keep our streets safe. Today there are more than 1,200 Crime Stoppers/Solvers programs in communities around the world that take tips to assist law enforcement in solving crimes and the apprehension of fugitives.

Prince George's County Crime Solvers is a non-profit program, managed by a volunteer board of directors, comprised of business owners and residents, who are responsible for raising the funds to pay rewards to individuals who provide information that helps solve crime.

Prince George’s County Crime Solvers offers three (3) different methods for providing information to law enforcement: the “P3 Tips” mobile app, pgcrimesolvers.com website and tip line…1-866-411-TIPS(8477).

After you submit your tip information, you will be given a confidential tip number. Keep this number secure. After several weeks, contact Crime Solvers to receive the status of your tip. If the information provided leads to the arrest and indictment, you could be eligible for a CA$H Reward!
