Crime of the Week Identity of Armed Robbery Suspect Needed The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a 2nd armed robbery of a convenience store in Capitol Heights committed by the same suspect. The latest incident occurred on March 29, 2013, shortly after 12:00 a.m., in 1400 block of Ritchie Road. The preliminary investigation suggests the suspect entered the convenience store posing as a customer. He chose a drink and approached the counter as if to pay. Once the clerk opened the register, the suspect displayed a handgun and ordered the victim to back away. The suspect then removed the cash drawer and ran from the store. Anyone with information about these cases or knows the identity of this suspect is asked to call the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Robbery Unit at (301) 772-4905.
